This new “Pro” model has a larger diameter for easier installation on wood bats. Made from Duralast rubber the TaterGrip Pro provides great benefits including: vibration dampening, reduces wood bat breakage, increased bat control, and has a tackier and more comfortable feel than pine tar or tape style grips. Tater Grip Pro is currently only available in Black and is for bats with handles 1” in diameter or larger. Some wood bats have ¾” handles and our standard Tater Grips work best with those bats. In addition the Tater Pro does not have a pattern like the traditional Tater grip, its smooth with no lines and is manufactured to allow the user to stretch the grips as far down the barrel as possible which thins the wall of the grip which some players prefer.
